Abstract:
This inquiry positions the IT services function within the firm’s internal utilization environment as a value driven quality focused operations interface oriented to influencing user satisfaction. The nomological objective elucidates firm’s internal IT user satisfaction as a resultant of technology affiliated task factors defining the IT domains’ service scape in tandem with user associated attributes connoting individual IT utility attitude. The modeling frames the relevant constructs’ domains geared to the firm’s IT services rendering mechanisms, technical delivery facets, assistive technology structures, and support systems in congruence with IT user’s capabilities and proclivities for technology affiliated cognitive processing and work utility functioning bounds posited as determinants of internal IT user satisfaction. The discourse works to operationalize this model of internal IT user satisfaction with IT services provided by the firm in its defined contextual frame of measurement scales’ development and empirical testing methods employing suited multivariate techniques for the data analyses. The narrative explicates statistical and substantive significances of the findings. Limitations of the study are discussed with future research directive.
